About the job

As a doctor with us, you will be met by a great team accustomed to working in teams. We place great emphasis on collaboration and constantly strive to be innovative in what we do. Your duties will consist of standard tasks for your profession as a doctor/specialist in general medicine, all based on the patients' care needs. This includes reception work and contact via telephone, as well as via chat24. The assignment may also include work with Child Health Services (BVC), supervision of students and AT/ST doctors, as well as some duty at the joint evening and weekend clinic. We also have home care and responsibility for special housing.

The position advertised is a fixed-term contract for 6 months.

About the workplace

At Veddige Health Centre, you will meet professional and dedicated employees who take good care of each other and our patients.

Here, you will become part of a highly competent team that, with great commitment, drives the development of the health centre forward. We work actively in the doctor group with a focus on Smart Clinical Choices for improved primary care and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's goal of 1100 listed patients per district doctor. Since the beginning of the year, we have changed our way of working and now work in a team rounding model inspired by the Svalöv model.

Our health centre consists of a doctor and district nurse clinic, sampling, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, neurorehabilitation, counselor, psychologist, BVC, specialist clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, smoking cessation, and risky drinking. The position may involve working both at Veddige Health Centre and at our branch in Bua.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed doctor with completed AT/BT. You have the authorization to work within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have Swedish language skills at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

As a person, you are unpretentious, communicative, and appreciate teamwork. You also have a desire and commitment to develop and change to an even better healthcare system.
