Your new workplace

Hagaskolan is a comprehensive and adapted primary school for grades F-9 with approximately 550 students. Hagaskolan is beautifully situated in a quiet residential area in the northern part of Sundsvall. Our goal is for all students to experience security and achieve expected knowledge through high expectations, good relationships, and positive interactions from our staff.

How you contribute as a special needs educator

As a special needs educator at Hagaskolan, you play a central role in improving our school's learning environment through systematic quality work. You also contribute to ensuring that early interventions lead to students learning and developing.

The work involves, among other things:

• Analyzing the school's learning environments and student results at the group and organizational levels.
• Participating in the school's systematic quality work.
• Mapping, investigating, and analyzing students' need for support at the individual level, as well as developing and following up on action plans.
• Supervising teachers regarding the adaptation of teaching.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who:

• have a teacher's degree and are trained as a special needs educator with a special needs education degree.
• have experience working in the lower and/or middle stages of primary school.
• have good knowledge of language, reading, and writing development as well as neuropsychiatric disabilities.
• are confident in supervisory and consultative assignments.
• work in a structured, solution-focused, and relationship-building manner.
