The Care Administration is looking for a nursing assistant (undersköterska) for Fjällbacka Service, a residential home for the elderly in Tanum Municipality. The position involves day, evening, and weekend shifts. You will work across the entire Fjällbacka Service with a home unit, but tasks will be performed at various units. This is a permanent position.

Job Responsibilities

Your duties include care based on individual needs, as well as health and medical care tasks according to instructions or delegation from occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses. Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have completed the nursing assistant program and have passed grades in Swedish 1 and Social Studies at the upper secondary level. Basic computer skills are meritorious. Great emphasis is placed on good teamwork skills, experience in care and support work, and personal suitability. It is an advantage if you have education and experience working with people with dementia or in psychiatry. Computer proficiency is required as documentation is done via the IT system Treserva.

You must have a protected professional title as a nursing assistant or fall under transitional provisions to be offered the position.

Conditions

Monthly salary and other employment benefits are according to the current collective agreement. Tanum Municipality has a smoke-free work environment, so we prefer that you are a non-smoker. A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) for "Elderly or adults with disabilities" is required before employment.
