We are attentive and work hard to ensure that every professional category feels job security. An example of this is the supervising doctor who is available daily.
The health centre is located in a nature-friendly area, a short bike ride from the city centre. The clinic offers doctor and nurse consultations, a diabetes clinic, an asthma/COPD clinic, Child Health Services (BVC), and a clinic for mental health issues. We collaborate closely with Närhälsan's rehabilitation clinic, midwife clinic, and youth clinic.
As an employee at Närhälsan, you are offered various development opportunities, such as internal training and mentorship programs. At the workplace, we actively work on development to constantly improve our methods and best meet the needs of our patients. About the Role
Your duties at the health centre cover a broad field, encompassing general medicine where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work in a health-promoting, advisory, and treatment capacity in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.
The work involves both emergency and planned operations. You work largely independently with your own clinic, where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues at the unit and cross-professionally in the team, as well as with other actors such as home healthcare and other specialist care. Together with the health centre management, you are responsible for developing and driving the operations forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission; therefore, supervising students is also included in your role at the health centre.
About You
You are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training as a District Nurse or further education in diabetes (at least 15 ECTS credits). It is an advantage if you have experience working in primary care and/or have a 7.5 ECTS credit supervisor education.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making independent decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can prioritize your tasks effectively.
In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You communicate well both verbally and in writing, and are an engaged and good listener during both digital meetings and clinic visits. We would appreciate it if you have an interest in digitalization and business development.
A professional working method and good treatment of customers, patients, and colleagues are a given for you. We also expect you to live up to Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.
Other Information
Travel for work purposes occurs; a B-class driver's license is required.
Interviews at the health centre will be held on an ongoing basis.
We welcome your application!
About the Recruitment Process
Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department, who invite relevant candidates to a telephone interview. Afterwards, the hiring manager makes a second selection of applicants and invites them to an interview at the health centre.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
