Electrical Designer

What does it look like in practice?

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Design and construction of electrical and control systems for industrial facilities
• Design of electrical power distribution as well as control and automation systems
• Sizing of power and control circuits and selection of components
• Preparation of electrical design documentation and technical documentation
• Creation of specifications and component lists
• Participation in technical reviews, design inspections, and project meetings
• Coordination with automation engineers, instrument engineers, installers, and the client's technical organization
• Support during FAT and SAT, as well as during assembly and commissioning when needed

Qualifications and Competence:

• Post-secondary education in electrical design, electrical engineering, and/or automation
• Experience in electrical design within industry or automation projects
• Experience with control systems and industrial electrical installations
• Proficiency in drawing tools such as EPLAN or ELPROCAD
• Strong familiarity with working in industrial environments and with technical documentation
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English

Technical Tools and Systems:

In this role, you will work with tools such as:

• EPLAN
• ELPROCAD
• El-VIS
• Microsoft Office 365
• Internal systems for planning, time reporting, and management

Standards and Regulations:

You will work in an environment where relevant industry standards and regulations are a natural part of daily life, for example:

• SS-EN IEC 60204
• SS-EN IEC 62061
• SS-EN ISO 13849
• Machine Directive (2006/42/EC)
• IEC standards for industrial installations
• Customer-specific standards and technical guidelines
