Are you a newly graduated electrical power engineer or do you have a strong interest in power grids and infrastructure? Do you want to kickstart your career in a socially vital industry where you can combine technology, planning, and customer contact? We are now looking for a Junior Planner for an exciting assignment at E.ON where you will have the opportunity to work with the design and development of local networks. Here you will become part of a competent operation with extensive technical knowledge and good opportunities for development.

About the role

As a Junior Planner within local networks, you will work with planning, design, and development of distribution networks. The role involves close collaboration with customers, contractors, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and sustainable network solutions.

You will play an important role in dimensioning and planning both existing and future power grid facilities. The assignment also includes field work together with contractors and other actors, giving you a good understanding of the entire process from planning to implementation.

The assignment is part of our staffing service. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at E.ON for an initial period of 12 months. The intention is that you will eventually be hired directly by them, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will work with planning, design, and preparation of local network facilities. The tasks may vary depending on the scope of the projects and the needs of the business, but examples of tasks include:

• Plan and design distribution networks and local network facilities
• Perform network calculations and dimensioning of existing and planned networks
• Prepare technical documentation and reports for network projects
• Create cost estimates and budget foundations
• Work with pre-documentation in dpPower
• Coordinate and communicate with customers, contractors, developers, and authorities
• Participate in site visits and field work in connection with design and implementation
• Ensure that projects follow current requirements, guidelines, and standards
• Contribute to the development and improvement of working methods and processes within the business

We are looking for you who

We are looking for you who have an education in electrical power, energy technology, or equivalent, and who want to work with the design and development of the power grids of the future. We welcome both those who are at the beginning of their career and those who have a few years of experience in electrical power, power grid design, or similar technical roles. The role suits you who are structured, solution-oriented, and thrive in a role with many contact surfaces and varied tasks.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• A Bachelor's degree in electrical power engineering, energy technology, or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of electricity distribution and power grid construction
• Interest in design, planning, and technical solutions
• Good ability to work in a structured and careful manner
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is meritorious if you have:

• Knowledge of or experience in designing local network facilities
• Experience with dpPower
• EBR training or knowledge of EBR standards
• Approved education in Work on Road (APV)
• Completed E.ON's Entré training
• Experience from internship, thesis, or summer job within power grid operations
