System Engineer in Test and Validation

Do you want to work with integration, testing, and verification of complex systems at the absolute forefront of technology? We are now looking for a System Engineer in Test and Validation who wants to help ensure the quality of advanced electronic warfare systems linked to fighter aircraft.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who thrives in a hands-on role, is curious, and has a natural drive to understand how complex systems work – for real.

We believe you have:

• A university degree or Master of Science in Engineering in Technical Physics, Electronics, or equivalent
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in areas such as system testing, verification, integration, or software development
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or similar
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

The assignment is classified. Prior to employment, you must undergo a security clearance check and be approved according to current security regulations. NOTE: This entails citizenship requirements.

About the role

As a System Engineer, you work with system-level testing and verification of EW systems (Electronic Warfare). The systems consist of in-house developed hardware and software, as well as cloud-based components where the software is updated frequently.

You work through the entire verification chain – from requirements to a fully verified function in a cloud environment.

Examples of tasks

• Analysis of system and functional requirements
• Test design, test case creation, and selection of relevant test cases
• Integration and verification at the system level
• Test runs in lab and cloud environments (real hardware against a simulated environment)
• Troubleshooting, analysis, and understanding of complex system issues
• Automation of suitable test cases (e.g., in Python or Java)
• Documentation, reporting, and dialogue with projects and development
