What we offer:

We are looking for a merchandiser/confectionery picker for a summer job where you will be responsible for Cloetta's loose-weight and natural candy sections in various stores in Örebro and the surrounding area. The work will be performed on an as-needed basis on weekdays, as well as Saturdays.

The position involves working independently, meaning you work on your own in the store during your shifts. You follow planned tasks and routines. The work is varied and takes place in different store environments, with daily contact with store staff and customers.

The work is physically demanding and involves repeated lifting of candy boxes. A hand truck is used as an aid when handling and moving pallets and products in the store.

Responsibilities:

• Stock and ensure that the loose-weight and natural candy sections are well-stocked and present an appealing sales display
• Pick products from the store's warehouse
• Perform ongoing cleaning and maintenance of the candy sections
• Place orders for goods according to established routines
• Handle waste such as cardboard and plastic
• Act as Cloetta's representative in the store towards staff and customers

Requirements for the position:

• Category B driver's license (required)
• Access to a personal car during all shifts (required)
• Availability to work weekdays during daytime hours, scheduled between 08:00–17:00
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for completing tasks as planned
• Good planning skills, orderliness, and efficiency
• Flexibility and ability to handle changes with short notice
• Good physical fitness as the work involves repeated lifting and a lot of movement

Previous experience in grocery retail, picking, or store work is advantageous. Introduction and training are provided before the start of the assignment.

Employment terms:

The work will be performed on an as-needed basis on weekdays and Saturdays until week 32. Training will take place as agreed earlier in the summer. Working hours are primarily scheduled on weekdays between 08:00 and 17:00, with some weekend work.

The employment is covered by the Retail Agreement between Swedish Retail (Svensk Handel) and the Swedish Union for Shop and Office Employees (Handelsanställdas förbund).
