As an Export Control Manager, you will become part of Saab's export control function within Business Support at Missile Systems. The function is cross-location, and your place of work is Karlskoga or Linköping.

Your role

In the role of Export Control Manager, you will have broad and varied responsibilities where you work both operationally and strategically with export control issues. You support the business through qualified advice, handle cases with relevant authorities, and ensure that the business complies with current laws and regulations within the field of export control.

Your main tasks include:

• Classifying hardware, software, and information according to applicable export control legislation.
• Processing export licenses and applications to Swedish and foreign authorities.
• Monitoring and reporting licenses and deliveries to relevant authorities.
• Implementing and further developing internal directives, processes, and working methods.
• Mapping and improving existing working methods to streamline export control work.
• Training and providing support to the business in export control-related matters.
• Following and analyzing developments in international regulations, particularly within the EU and the USA.

An important part of the role is to contribute to the development and streamlining of working methods. The work is varied and sometimes event-driven, and you collaborate closely with colleagues throughout Saab.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have experience working with export control and who feel confident in interpreting and applying regulations in the field. You have a relevant academic background in engineering, law, or equivalent, and express yourself very well in both Swedish and English, orally and in writing.

As a person, you are structured and meticulous, with high integrity and a strong sense of responsibility. You thrive in a role where you can combine operational work with a broader improvement perspective, and you are comfortable driving issues forward independently while collaborating closely with others.

You have good communication skills and enjoy working in an advisory capacity, where you build trust and create good relationships both internally and externally, for example with authorities and other partners.

It is a plus if you also have experience in business and process development as well as some knowledge of Saab's products within the Dynamics business area.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
