Your Responsibilities

Do you want to work in a business-oriented and social role where relationships, service mindset, and business drive are in focus? We are now looking for an Operational Buyer for Saab Group Procurement within Professional Services. In this role, you will have a central function in supporting operations regarding indirect materials and services, with a particular focus on consultancy procurement and operational purchasing.

You will work closely with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers in a dynamic environment with many touchpoints. The role involves a combination of operational and tactical purchasing tasks in areas such as consultants, training, and marketing communications, where dialogue, coordination, and service to the business are a natural part of everyday life. This is a role for you who thrives on building relationships, creating trust, and driving business forward together with others.

Main responsibilities:

• Handle operational consultancy purchases and purchase requests.
• Work with approval and administration in purchasing flows.
• Create and follow up on purchase orders and contribute to efficient digital P2P solutions.
• Ensure correct onboarding of suppliers and settings for supplier catalogs and extracts.
• Ensure that system content regarding products, services, information, as well as prices and delivery terms, is correctly updated.
• Participate in tendering and dialogue regarding candidates and consultancy solutions.
• Collaborate closely with strategic buyers in the team.
• Collaborate and communicate within cross-functional teams throughout the Saab organization.
• Assist with reports and data analysis as needed.

Your Profile

For this role, we are looking for someone who is social, business-driven, and thrives in a role with many touchpoints. You have a natural ability to create trust, build relationships, and communicate with different types of people. To succeed in this role, you need to be efficient, service-oriented, and have a good business sense with the ability to see both the business's and the suppliers' needs.

We place great importance on personality and believe that you have a background where service, customer contact, and relationship building have been a natural part of everyday life. You are used to handling many dialogues simultaneously, have a professional demeanor, and are driven by finding solutions and creating good collaborations.

We believe you have:

• Relevant education in purchasing, logistics, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in operational purchasing or a similar coordinating role.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience in consultancy operations or consultancy purchasing is highly meritorious.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
