As a Financial Controller, you will become an integral part of the finance function, working closely with the CFO, Accounting Manager, and Business Controller on financial monitoring, analysis, and reporting. This role is ideal for someone with a solid financial foundation, strong system skills, and a desire to develop in a business-oriented controller position with gradually increasing responsibilities.

You will work both operationally and analytically, focusing on financial monitoring, profitability analysis, and improvement initiatives. For the right candidate, there are significant opportunities to grow into a more senior role over time.

Reporting lines are directly to the CFO.

Main Responsibilities

Financial Monitoring and Accounting

• Responsible for monitoring and analyzing selected balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Participate in month-end closing and ensure quality in financial reporting.
• Support reconciliations, analyses, and monitoring of financial variances.

Analysis and Business Support

• Responsible for financial monitoring and analysis for selected regions.
• Support operations with analyses of results, margins, and profitability at the regional and rental center levels.
• Help identify deviations from budget and forecast, providing explanations and improvement suggestions.
• Prepare reports and decision-support materials.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Actively participate in the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Collect, validate, and analyze financial data.
• Gradually take on greater responsibility in planning and monitoring processes.

Improvement and Development

• Contribute to the efficiency of financial processes and reporting routines.
• Participate in improvement projects together with finance and operations.
• Over time, take ownership of own development initiatives and projects.

BI and Reporting

• Work with Power BI and other analytical tools for monitoring and reporting.
• Contribute to the development of dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking.
• Ensure the business receives relevant financial information to support decision-making.

Who We Are Looking For

• Academic education in economics or finance.
• Several years of experience in finance, controlling, auditing, or accounting.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial relationships.
• Analytical mindset and enjoyment working with numbers and business monitoring.
• Excellent knowledge of systems (Excel, ERP, and BI tools).
• Curious about the business and eager to understand profitability drivers.
• Interest in improvement work and efficiency.
