We are looking for a CAD Design Engineer - EVAP System Solution Engineer for a global automotive company in Gothenburg.

Start date is June 2026, with an initial 19-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension thereafter.

Design Engineer for EVAP Systems

What you will do as Component Responsible

As Component Responsible, you are accountable for Time, Technique, and Cost for your component. You will provide support to the Group Design Leader (GDL). You are responsible for communication between the Project (GDL) and the Supplier.

The role involves close collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders to secure deliveries according to project schedules. You will support alignment with suppliers, report development progress, create time plans, and ensure integration into the vehicle.

You will work primarily on new projects.

You will be responsible for CAD models. You will support all communication between the project and the supplier.

Main Work Tasks:

• Participate in and independently lead meetings regarding packaging, supplier, and manufacturing issues, etc.

• Close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders such as Manufacturing Engineers, Supplier Quality Assurance, Purchasing, as well as test and validation engineers.

• Design using Catia V5 and PLM systems, specifically Teamcenter.

• Secure delivery of the component regarding time, technique, and cost.

• Ensure availability and keep systems updated with the latest time plans, models, drawings, deviations, etc.

• Carry out system checks of your design.

• Responsible for the creation and release of change orders.

Skills Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Design experience with engines/powertrains in general.

• Experienced in Catia V5 and TCe.

• Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken).

This is a full-time consultant position in Gothenburg through Incluso. The start date is June 2026, with an initial 19-month fixed-term contract. This role is 100% onsite in Gothenburg.
