We are now looking for a Security Technician for a large and established installation company in Halmstad. Here you will work with modern security solutions including locks, alarms, access control, and CCTV in a varied daily routine where technology, problem-solving, and customer relations are in focus.

About the role
As a Security Technician, you will work with the installation, service, troubleshooting, and commissioning of security systems at customer sites. Projects vary from large-scale contracts to smaller service assignments, offering you a broad and varied role where no two days are alike.

The role combines practical work at customer sites with technical work at the computer, including programming, configuration, and documentation of security systems. You will work closely with customers and become a key part of creating, developing, and maintaining good customer relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Installation and commissioning of lock, alarm, and access control systems
• Service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of security systems
• Customer contact and advice on technical solutions
• Programming and configuration of security systems
• Documentation and updating of systems
• Collaboration with project managers, technicians, and installers

About you

Requirements
• Approximately 4–5 years of experience in installation, service, and troubleshooting within lock, alarm, and access control systems
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English

Merits
• Experience with RCO or similar systems
• Background as an electrician
• Experience in customer responsibility or upselling
