For upcoming assignments with our clients in Solna, we now wish to strengthen our consulting team with an experienced consultant in electronic design and PCB layout.

We are looking for you who want to work with technically advanced products within the defense and high-tech industry, where high demands are placed on quality, reliability, and technical performance.

You will become part of a competent team responsible for electronic design in products with advanced electronic content, working closely with several technical disciplines such as systems, mechanics, and software.

In this role, you will work with both digital and analog PCB design, focusing on signal and image processing as well as design for high transmission speeds. The work covers the entire development chain – from requirements management and analysis to the finished product.

You will among other things:

• Be responsible for PCB layout and circuit board design in projects
• Work with digital and analog electronic designs
• Perform analyses and simulations related to signal integrity and EMC
• Interpret and break down technical requirements
• Document and specify design solutions
• Communicate with PCB manufacturers regarding manufacturability and DFM issues
• Contribute to the development of robust products for demanding environments with high mechanical and thermal loads

We are looking for you who have:

• At least 3 years of experience in circuit board design and PCB layout
• University or civil engineering education in electronics or equivalent
• Experience in analog and digital electronic design
• Good understanding of signal integrity and EMC
• Experience in requirements management, documentation, and technical specification
• Experience in contact with suppliers and issues related to manufacturability/DFM
• Ability to work in cross-functional projects with many interfaces
