Driftutvecklare scener – Nyköpings Arenor

Nyköpings Arenor, part of the Business, Culture and Leisure division in Nyköping Municipality, offers venues for culture, leisure, and sports. We have several different arenas to work with around Nyköping. Over the past few years, we have worked on a range of national and international events, such as camp activities, JSM in ice hockey and handball, and Melodifestivalen. We are now looking for a Driftutvecklare scener (Operations Developer for Stages) who will join the team at Nyköpings Arenor.

Job Responsibilities

As a Driftutvecklare scener, you will play a key role in leading and developing the technical operations of our stages. You are responsible for scheduling and operational leadership of our events. The role also involves being a key contact person for our customers and partners.

Together with the Operations Manager, you are responsible for creating and implementing a long-term development plan for stage technology within Nyköpings Arenor, as well as providing the basis for investment decisions. You will also be responsible for leading consultants and following up on completed work. Planning of productions and detailed planning regarding playing areas are also part of the role.

The work includes coordinating technical equipment, scheduling, and organizing work on the playing area. You work closely with the technical management and have overall responsibility on the playing area. The work takes place during both day and evening hours, as well as weekends.

You are part of a team and responsible for the team taking overall responsibility for Nyköpings Arenor's operations. This means that everyone must be able to support each other and pitch in. The work takes place both indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions. Physical ability to handle various lifts in outdoor environments is important, as is being prepared for work that may be dirty, heavy, and require rubber boots. Part of the job also means that you may participate in other tasks and projects within Nyköpings Arenor's organization as needed, giving you an exciting assignment with varied tasks.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least a completed upper secondary education
• Technical education or equivalent experience in stage technology
• At least 3 years of experience in sound, light/stage technology
• Electrical qualification AB-L
• Knowledge in image production and streaming
• Good computer skills, preferably in both PC and Mac environments
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Physical ability to handle heavy lifts
• B and C driver's license
• Experience working in municipal operations

Meritorious:

• Tour experience
• Machinery experience (e.g., forklift, tractor, lift)

We believe you are organized and stress-resistant, solution- and customer-focused. You work well in a group and can both lead and be led. Working hours are according to a fixed schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
