Job Responsibilities

As a Dental Nurse with us, you will become part of a cheerful and dedicated staff group with diverse backgrounds and experience. We work in fixed teams consisting of one dentist and two nurses, with the patient's best interests in focus. The work includes tasks such as assistance and/or prophylaxis. We offer a developmental environment with good opportunities for learning and participation in the continued development of the business, where we also encourage your own areas of interest. Task distribution and delegation to dental nurses are encouraged to utilize your competencies.

As a new employee, you will go through an introduction program and receive good support from your colleagues. The Public Dental Service's joint days for new employees and training in the medical record system are included in the introduction.

About Us

The dental clinics in the Varberg area - Breared, Tvååker, and Västra Vall - collaborate closely regarding staffing and patient flows and share common denominators such as a business manager, planning days, and staff as needed.

You will have your employment at Västra Vall, which is the large clinic in Varberg with 13 treatment rooms. Currently, we have 7 dentists and 1 dental hygienist here.

At the clinic, we perform examinations and subsequent treatments such as fillings, caries investigations, root canal treatment, prosthetics, and surgery, including implant installation. We have access to OPG via the orthodontics department located on the same floor. A scanner is available for digital impressions, and we use digital tools that allow for chat and meetings with our patients.

You can easily commute to Varberg by train, and then it is a walking distance to the clinic, approx. 10 minutes. Region Halland offers discounted bus passes with Hallandstrafiken and favorable leasing options for cars or electric bicycles, for those interested.

Qualifications

You who apply are a trained Dental Nurse, and previous experience in the profession is meritorious. The position requires good IT skills and experience with computer systems, for example, the medical record systems Cosmic and Carita. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement for the position.

You put the patient in focus and enjoy working both independently and in a team. You have the ability to understand and work from a holistic perspective for the benefit of the clinic. You are interested in systematic improvements and contribute to knowledge exchange. Driving ideas and seeking new ways of working is something that engages you. We value qualities such as engagement, teamwork, and being service-oriented. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
