Emergency Clinic in Östhammar

Our 1,800 employees work with primary care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation services, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. We are now looking for you, a nurse, for a permanent position who wants to help build the Östhammar Health Center. The extent of employment is negotiable. The role involves rotation duties, i.e., evenings, nights, and weekends. A preferred schedule is applied. The main employment will be at the emergency clinic, although other tasks may occur. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.

Your Role

Your role as a nurse at the emergency clinic will be to triage and receive patients who come to the clinic. You will have a varied job within a team, which also includes assisting with various examinations and treatments. You may also have other tasks at other units.

Your Qualifications

You, the applicant, are a licensed nurse, preferably with experience from primary care/emergency care. If you have previous experience from an emergency clinic/emergency room, it is an advantage. We are looking for someone who is positive, has a flexible working style, and good ability to collaborate with others in the team. We place great emphasis on personal suitability as well as your ability and willingness to develop the operations together with the staff at the Health Center and the emergency clinic.

Our Operations

Östhammar Emergency Clinic is located in the coastal town of Östhammar. At the emergency clinic, everyone works to provide our patients with the best possible care. The emergency clinic operates at the primary care level and is open during evenings, nights, and weekends. We have close cooperation with the health centers in the municipality as well as our neighboring healthcare providers. Östhammar Emergency Clinic is part of the Health Center.
