Description

Social Activity on Prescription is a unique, innovative, and health-promoting initiative in Sweden, aimed at preventing and reducing loneliness. Social Activity on Prescription involves a systematic approach to identify loneliness in primary care, assess activity needs, prescribe social activities, and follow up on their implementation.

Our multidisciplinary research group, comprising expertise in occupational therapy, ethnology, public health, and nursing, has collaborated for several years to co-create the working model "Social Activity on Prescription" together with primary care and municipal services. Job Description

The responsibilities focus on practically contributing to the continued development of the project by compiling literature and developing text for project applications, further developing the network of stakeholders around the project, and coordinating co-creation activities for the development of the model.

As a Staff Scientist, you will therefore conduct literature reviews within the research field, compile and analyze the current state of knowledge within the area of social prescribing, and create text suitable for research applications. Furthermore, you will work on the continued development of the existing network with primary care, municipalities, and civil society by initiating contact and discussions with stakeholders. Additionally, you will plan, organize, and conduct co-creation workshop activities related to the further development of the working model "Social Activity on Prescription," which involves discussing and further developing the model's content, description, and format of descriptions together with actors within primary care, municipalities, and civil society based on knowledge generated earlier in the project.

Qualifications

  • Experience with co-creation research methods
  • Very good knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Experience working with stakeholders, e.g., primary care, municipalities, organizations in civil society
  • Experience conducting literature studies
  • Postdoctoral position where participatory research was included in the project
  • PhD in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Sports Medicine
  • Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
