About the job
We are looking for you who like food, people, and sales and want to become part of our wonderful team at Willys Hyllinge Handelsplats! The position simply means that you contribute to our customers being able to buy good and sustainable food at really good prices, while you are prepared to take the step to become a leader at Willys.
Employment type: Permanent position, 32 hours per week, probationary period applies.
Start date: 2026-06-29 or as agreed.
Working hours: You will vary between working early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends.
Requirements: Upper secondary education, good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written). We welcome applicants of all ages, but with reference to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 chapter 8 and appendix 2, we do not hire persons under 18 years of age depending on the nature of the tasks.
Here is a bit more about the position:
- You are a team player with more responsibility than others in your team, but without having the team leader's full personnel responsibility.
- Together with your team leader, you lead and plan the operations in the cash team. Of course, you actively participate in the daily operational store work.
- You will learn the knowledge and skills required to eventually take on a role as a team leader. This is a springboard to move forward in your Willys career with the goal of becoming a future team leader or perhaps eventually a store manager?
- You work purposefully to develop the store's sales, profitability, and other important key figures.
- You are part of the store's management and have the team leader's job description on your development plan. You practice the skills you have learned in work and through training.
- You are a role model in working to meet our customers with knowledge, finesse, and a big smile.

About you

- You are junior in your leadership and do not need to have experience from a leadership role, but see yourself as a future leader and are driven by leading others. Alternatively, you already have the experience, but not within the grocery retail industry.
- You are good at communicating, like engaging your colleagues, and are good at creating a positive work climate.
- You like people, put the customer's needs first, and are good at getting people on board – both customers and employees.
