ABOUT THE POSITION

At Rehabassistans, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Härnösand. We are currently looking for on-call substitutes as needed as well as summer substitutes.

You will work weekdays and approximately every other weekend according to the following times:

• 07:00–12:00

• 09:00–17:00

• 17:00–23:00

• 17:00–07:00 (on-call hours 23:00–07:00)

Start date is by agreement; we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a 67-year-old woman. She enjoys going out for small daily activities, including visiting Erikshjälpen, shopping, and taking walks. Our client needs your help as an assistant in her daily life as she has MS.

The duties include:

• Support in daily routines, such as household chores.

• Help with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals.

• Mobility and transfers.

The client uses lifting aids, a wheelchair, an electric wheelchair, and a shower chair.

REQUIREMENTS

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

• You are non-smoking.

Employment level: On-call substitutes as needed and summer substitutes.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Rehabassistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID and/or submit a certificate of personal data (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
