Botkyrka Municipality is looking for an experienced and dedicated vocational teacher for an intensive training program for future elevator technicians at Xenter Vocational College.

We are looking for you who want to help educate the next generation of elevator technicians through a practical, industry-relevant education with a clear connection to the industry's needs. You will be responsible for teaching in an intensive program where theory is combined with practical work in workshops and elevator labs.

The training is conducted in close collaboration with the educational leadership and targets smaller study groups with a high focus on quality, practical learning, and career preparation.

The education is 16 weeks long, full-time, and consists of five modules. The first part is conducted online, followed by on-site teaching at Xenter's premises and elevator lab in Tumba.

Teaching takes place four days a week, with a structure that combines:

• Theory in the mornings
• Practical sessions in the afternoons
• Guidance and support for students
• Examination and assessment

In this role, you will:

• Plan and conduct teaching within elevator technology
• Combine theory with practical exercises
• Teach electrical systems, mechanics, control systems, and troubleshooting
• Guide students during practical sessions
• Conduct examinations and assessments
• Collaborate with educational leadership regarding schedules and course structure

• At least three years of experience in elevator technology or a comparable technical field
• Practical experience working with elevators, gates, or related technology
• Good knowledge of electricity, mechanics, and control systems
• Ability to work pedagogically and in a structured manner
• Experience in teaching, mentoring, or competence development is meritorious
