The Role of Assistant Nurse, Care Assistant, and Helper with us

As an assistant nurse, care assistant, or helper, you will meet people with different needs – in their own homes. The work varies and can consist of everything from personal care and daily support to simpler medical interventions. No day is the same, and that is exactly what makes the job stimulating, meaningful, and far from boring.

Our geographical area currently stretches from Älvsåker and Anneberg towards Björkris. From April 1st, the area will be further expanded to include Lygnern. This means even more variation in the workday, with different environments and more meetings with people in various life situations.

You work according to a schedule with day, evening, and every other weekend shifts, and you drive a car as part of the job.

Your Profile

Aside from liking and being interested in people, we require diligence, flexibility, and stress tolerance. We would like you to be a positive and calm person who is also solution-oriented, sees opportunities in change, takes initiative, and suggests new approaches. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• is at least 18 years old
• expresses themselves well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work
• holds a valid Class B driver's license

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a permanent full-time position, with start date according to agreement.

The position is full-time or according to agreement. Within the Department of Care & Support, all employees in home care and care and support residences are employed at 100% capacity, but employees have the opportunity to reduce their working hours to the desired level based on the needs of the operations.

Before an offer of employment is made, a satisfactory extract from the police criminal record must be presented. Background checks may be conducted prior to employment.

As of July 1, 2023, "Assistant Nurse" (Undersköterska) is a protected professional title.
