ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Rehabassistans are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant. Our client lives every other week in Härnösand and in Mörtsal. We offer a full-time position (100%) and hourly temporary work as needed. Working hours are scheduled from 07:00 to 20:00, and you will always work together with a colleague.

Start date is by agreement, and we would be happy if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a 4-year-old boy. He is very social and likes to be where things are happening. He enjoys joining his siblings' activities, such as handball and football, and appreciates being outdoors in all weather. Additionally, he likes to bake.

The boy has a high care need and must never be left unsupervised. As his assistant, you will help him with all daily routines.

The duties include:

• Accompanying and participating in activities
• Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and mobility
• Handling of assistive devices, including tube feeding via PEG, cough assist machine, home ventilator, and saturation monitoring

REQUIREMENTS

• Driver's license and access to a car
• No allergy to fur-bearing animals
• Non-smoker
• Tolerant to chlorine/Ability to swim

MERITS

Employment level: 1 full-time position (100%) and 1 hourly temporary position.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Rehabassistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID document and/or submit a Swedish tax certificate (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the tax certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
