E.ON in Sweden is part of the international energy group E.ON SE, headquartered in Essen, Germany. Within the group, around 70,000 people work in 17 countries. Around 2,100 dedicated employees work across Sweden. Our Nordic headquarters are located in Malmö. In Sweden, we deliver electricity, heating, and smart energy solutions to just over one million households and businesses. E.ON's role is to take responsibility and drive development forward so that more people can transition. With our investments and our customers' willingness to contribute, we work to continue electrifying society and meeting future energy needs.

Welcome to E.ON – and become part of the energy transition. In collaboration with our customers and partners, we ensure that electricity and heat are produced, used, and recycled more intelligently. If you have passion and believe in the power of working together, E.ON is the place for you.

About Us

We are looking for a new employee for Malmö within the Network Optimization South team. Our team consists of 12 employees who are designers and network planners distributed across three locations: Halmstad, Malmö, and Växjö. Each location is responsible for the local network in its respective area, with Malmö responsible for Southern Scania.

Your Role

We are now looking for a Designer who will primarily work with network planning and reinvestment, reinforcement, and maintenance projects in close collaboration with project managers, maintenance engineers, and documentation technicians. You plan and drive projects to investment decisions and hold technical and economic responsibility throughout the projects. Duties include preparing network investigations, load analyses, technical descriptions, and economic calculations as a basis for projects, and holding dialogues with municipalities, contractors, and landowners to coordinate projects in the best possible way.

Your Experience

To succeed and thrive in the role of Designer with us, we believe you have a technical education with a focus on electric power or electricity distribution, but you may have acquired these skills in other ways. We are looking for someone with a good understanding of the electrical grid's structure and who has previous experience in design/network planning, where prior experience in project management, preparation, or field electrical work is an advantage.

You have many contact areas, and therefore we believe you are good at building long-term relationships and have strong communication skills. We have a purpose in everything we do and are convinced that engagement and sustainable performance are based on security and respect for our differences. We therefore hope that you lead your work with openness and take time for self-reflection and consideration.

What is it like working with us?

We welcome you to a helpful and open team with a supportive culture where knowledge exchange happens daily and is a prerequisite for us to achieve good results together. The group is characterized by joy of work, curiosity, and inclusion, where we make decisions together and drive our processes forward with shared and individual responsibility.

Your manager, Matilda Svensson, prioritizes collaboration and works to create the best possible conditions for the group to succeed together. Every individual in the group is an important building block, and she encourages knowledge sharing and an inclusive climate where everyone feels involved. Matilda is always available and encourages suggestions for improvement and personal development. A positive work environment and having fun are important!

At E.ON, we actively work with inclusion – it is crucial for driving the energy transition forward. We want you to feel welcome! We strive to create a secure work environment with meaningful tasks and good opportunities for development. We continue to challenge ourselves to create a welcoming workplace where we hope you will thrive.

We work for a more sustainable energy society, but it is equally important that our employees have the conditions to care for their personal sustainability. We therefore offer good benefits so that you feel good and have a good balance between work and leisure. Some of these include reduced working hours that are higher than the industry standard, health insurance, free healthcare, and more!

We warmly welcome you to apply and join us on the path to a sustainable society! The last day for applications is June 10.
