Your Workplace

We are a clinic with 28 employees and operate in two different locations, where staff work across both units.

The Kristinehamn clinic is located in the former hospital building and offers the city's best view. Would you ever get tired of looking out over Lake Vänern from the 10th floor every day?

Folktandvården Storfors is located in Hälsans Hus, centrally situated in Storfors, and our working model is traditional.

In Kristinehamn, we have 14 treatment rooms, and in Storfors, we have four. Both of our units are co-located with other healthcare facilities such as a health center, pharmacy, and physiotherapy. Kristinehamn is known for its art and offers proximity to Lake Vänern and the archipelago, with excellent fishing opportunities and a vibrant boating culture. Storfors is also surrounded by water and is popular with paddlers and boaters.

Your Responsibilities

Here, you will enjoy a varied and stimulating job primarily consisting of dental assisting, sterilization, and reception duties. If you are interested, there are also opportunities for independent areas of responsibility, such as prophylaxis with your own patients, and other delegated tasks such as taking impressions. The duties vary between adult and pediatric dentistry.

It is important to us that our customers feel satisfied after a visit, which is why we place great emphasis on service and customer interaction.

If you are at the beginning of your career, you will receive good support from your new colleagues. Furthermore, we give you a strong start to your new career as you will participate in the public dental service's comprehensive introduction program, which combines theory with practical work.

Your Knowledge and Competencies

We are looking for you who have a dental hygienist/dental nurse degree (tandsköterskeexamen).

You are a team player who also appreciates working independently and taking initiative when needed. We also value your ability to adapt to changing circumstances and adjust your tasks accordingly. Since we operate in two different locations, having a B-driver's license is considered a positive asset.

Experience from previous patient work is meritorious.

Folktandvården Värmland is part of Region Värmland and has 17 general dental clinics, distributed across 24 different units – from Sysslebäck in the north to Säffle in the southwest. Additionally, there are clinics within all specialist areas treating referred patients. We are a forward-thinking organization focused on quality and competence. Approximately 560 people work here, collectively possessing long and broad experience in working for better oral health.
