Who is Familjen?

Familjen is a secure and dedicated employer with over fifteen years of experience in personal assistance for children, young people, and adults with disabilities. We work in a person-centered way, which means that every individual – whether you are an assistant, a relative, or the person receiving assistance – should feel seen, respected, and validated in our operations.

We have permits and are active with assistance groups throughout Sweden, from Gällivare down to Helsingborg. Our office is located in Täby, just north of Stockholm.

We are looking for a female personal assistant on PART-TIME basis for a woman living in ÖSTERÅKER (Åkersberga).

We are always very careful about who we hire – but for this group, we take it one step further and we only hire people who qualify according to the criteria below.

About the workplace

The advertisement applies to a person with autism and developmental disability who lives in their own apartment near municipal resources, making it easy to get to/from the workplace. The person's daily life is characterized by security and stability, and we enjoy going on various excursions together. The person has double assistance around the clock, and the schedule is built on 24-hour shifts. Here, routines are important, as is the understanding that the customer's needs are the focus and drive the entire daily life.

About the employment

The position involves a fixed schedule on a part-time basis, corresponding to 70% full-time equivalent. Possibility for more hours during vacation and other leave. At this workplace, one works 24-hour shifts (10:00–10:00) with a distribution of both awake nights and on-call duties during part of the shift. 24-hour shifts provide better continuity for both the customer and the employee, as well as more consolidated leave, which can suit many different types of life puzzles.

Requirements

Due to the nature of the work, it is required that you speak and understand Swedish fluently.
