Do you have at least five years of experience working as a UX/UI Designer? Do you want to lead and be responsible for the agency's design system and UX/UI processes?

Then you have the opportunity to make a difference in a socially important organization! Read more and apply today!

What will you work with?

Our ongoing projects and administrations deliver system support for, among other things, contact tracing, digital sharing of genetic sequencing data, benefit management, vaccinations, antibiotic resistance, fee management, supervision, permits, follow-ups, and monitoring.

We are facing a shift where we continue to refine our agile capabilities, increase the level of automation, and develop our working methods. We are now strengthening our IT delivery with an experienced UX/UI Designer.

You will be responsible for bringing together and managing the agency's design system and UX/UI processes. The role requires you to have a good ability to see the agency as a whole and how it relates to individual services.

As a UX/UI Designer, your work will include, among other things:

  • Develop concepts and implement GUI design for web services and platforms, focusing on user-friendly and modern web frameworks, with thoughtful solutions that consider the big picture.
  • Conduct usability tests.
  • Lead workshops with internal and external target groups.

The agency works increasingly in DevOps environments, and you need to be accustomed to working in this format. You should have a solution-oriented mindset, be able to analyze and assess, and have a well-developed ability to communicate knowledge and messages regardless of the recipient, in various formats – both written and oral.

The agency has initiated a long-term investment starting in 2026 to further develop the agency's process work, whereby the need for UX/UI design will be relevant.

In your role, you will have an important function in promoting uniform working methods and contributing to continuous improvements, innovation, and digitalization. You will need to distribute your time between several development teams and, if necessary, participate in government assignments.

You need to be confident in your knowledge and experience, have a well-developed ability to collaborate with different target groups and stakeholders, and have a good understanding of regulatory compliance.

Who are we looking for?

Requirements for the position:

  • An academic degree in a relevant field, or other education combined with experience that the employer considers relevant.
  • At least five years of experience working as a UX/UI Designer.

  • Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.

Great emphasis is placed on:

  • Very good experience with intuitive design solutions in the role of UX/UI Designer.
  • Knowledge of interaction design and global design patterns.
  • Very good experience in moderating design workshops.
  • Current experience in identifying target groups, both within and outside your own organization, and understanding and analyzing their needs.
  • Current experience working agilely, creating sketches and/or prototypes, and, together with other competencies (such as developers, architects, and other project members), designing detailed designs.

Significant emphasis is placed on:

  • Current experience working in rule-based operations.
  • Very good knowledge of English, both in speech and writing.
  • Experience working in Figma and FigJam.
  • Experience working in Jira and Confluence.
  • Current experience working with design in existing digital solutions as well as creating new digital solutions.
