Knapes is now looking for a Store and Warehouse Associate for our shop on Ringön in Gothenburg, a broad role focused on sales, customer service, and operational tasks!

What Does the Role Offer?

As a Store and Warehouse Associate at Knapes, you will have a broad and operational role where you combine customer service and retail sales with warehouse work and practical tasks within the business. You will work closely with both customers and colleagues, becoming an integral part of the daily operations at the facility.

Our customer base consists primarily of groundworks contractors and construction-related businesses, meaning your daily routine is often flexible and solution-oriented. One day you might help customers in the store or warehouse, and the next you could be visiting a client on-site for a quick meeting.

The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in Gothenburg and Kungsbacka. It is important that you are unpretentious and thrive in an environment where everyone helps each other. Here, you are expected to jump in where needed – whether it involves sales, warehouse duties, customer service, or solving urgent customer needs.

Examples of tasks include:

• Assisting customers in-store and during pick-up
• Warehouse management and forklift driving
• Preparing quotes and following up on business deals
• Assisting with deliveries and practical tasks in the business as needed
• Processing new and existing customers within groundworks and contracting

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who is social, driven, and unpretentious. You enjoy meeting people and thrive in a role where you build relationships and find solutions for customers. Perhaps you currently work in retail, hardware stores, warehousing, or sales and feel ready to develop within the construction industry.

We believe you have some experience in sales and customer contact, but the most important thing is that you have the right attitude, strong drive, and the willingness to learn about our products and industry.

As a person, you are flexible and enjoy a daily routine where things sometimes change quickly. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty when needed and appreciate a role where you help out with a bit of everything. Furthermore, we believe you are service-oriented, solution-focused, and contribute positive energy to the team.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in sales, specialty retail, warehousing, or customer service
• A valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

A forklift license and experience from construction, groundworks, or infrastructure are meritorious but not mandatory.
