Do you want to work with industrial automation, PLC, and robotics in a senior consultant role for an investment project?

We are now looking for an experienced automation consultant for a well-established industrial company in the Örebro region. You will contribute your experience and knowledge to investment projects where you work on developing and future-proofing production and automation solutions. This assignment is suitable for you who have experience with PLC systems, industrial robotics, technical evaluations, and supplier dialogues in complex industrial environments. You will contribute knowledge regarding automation solutions, technical decision-making, and implementation together with both internal teams and external suppliers. The assignment starts immediately and initially runs for at least six months.

The assignment is a consultancy role located with our client within the manufacturing industry, just outside Örebro. The work takes place on-site in production and in a project environment. You can either be employed by TNG during the assignment period or join as a sub-consultant via TNG.

As an employed consultant via TNG Tech, you work securely with collective agreements, insurance, and of course a wellness allowance. As a sub-consultant at TNG, you get the freedom to manage your assignments and working hours, while receiving support and new opportunities through our broad assignment network!

Your responsibilities

• Participate in and drive automation-related parts of investment projects
• Participate in technical discussions regarding robotics, PLC systems, control systems, and integrations
• Evaluate supplier solutions within industrial automation
• Ensure that automation solutions meet the business's technical requirements
• Collaborate with project managers, production, technical teams, and external suppliers
• Contribute with technical advice and risk assessments
• Follow up on the implementation and quality assurance of automation solutions

Worth knowing

The assignment is a consultancy role located with the client just outside Örebro.

We are looking for you who are available for the assignment immediately and enjoy working on-site at the client's location. You have good Swedish skills, a B driver's license, and access to a car are prerequisites.

Our expectations

We are looking for you who have several years of experience within industrial automation and have previously worked in investment projects within industry or production. You have good knowledge of PLC systems and robotics as well as experience in evaluating technical solutions and suppliers.

As a person, you are structured, communicative, and confident in dialogue with both internal and external stakeholders. You are used to taking responsibility, driving issues forward, and contributing a solution-oriented perspective even in technically complex contexts. You have the ability to quickly get up to speed in new projects and build trust through your competence and experience.
