We are now looking for experienced, secure, and engaged employees for our staffing pool within elderly care.

About the assignment

The mission of the pool operations within the municipality is to contribute to stable and secure staffing within elderly care, both in home care and in special housing. By covering absences and temporary needs, the pool creates the conditions for operations to function continuously with maintained quality.

As an employee in the pool, you work flexibly where the need is greatest. You meet elderly people with varying needs for support and care, and your role is to contribute to security, continuity, and respectful treatment in everyday life. The work always starts from the individual's wishes, abilities, and life situation, with a focus on creating a meaningful and dignified existence.

The assignment involves varied and dynamic work, and you contribute to continuity and quality in care by flexibly adapting to new situations.

Working hours are primarily scheduled for nights and weekends, but evening work may also occur. The position involves work within the entire geographical area of Arvika Municipality.

Qualifications

• Nursing assistant education
• Experience in home care and special housing
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Category B driver's license and access to a car

We are looking for you who treat people with respect, dignity, and professionalism, and who always start from the individual's needs and life situation. You have good communication skills and a calm, low-affective approach that contributes to security, especially when meeting people with dementia. Through your way of being, you create trust and good relationships, both with the elderly and with your colleagues.

You thrive in collaboration with others, but are also secure in working independently and taking initiative. Your structured way of working enables you to follow instructions while handling varying situations responsibly.

Since the work is varied, you have good adaptability and are motivated by quickly getting to know new environments, routines, and ways of working. You understand the complexity of the assignment and see flexibility as a natural and positive part of your work.
