We have approximately 10,400 registered patients. Around 50 employees from various professional categories work here. We have 8 Specialist Doctors and 8 ST-doctors (doctors in specialized training), and we have a well-established educational environment.

The Health Centre has a broad mandate including an assessment vehicle, family centre, rehabilitation unit, counselling clinic, and several nurse-led specialist clinics. The Health Centre is characterized by a good working atmosphere and excellent cooperation. We are keen on ensuring that you, as a new employee, feel like part of our team. We are now seeking a District Doctor for a pleasant and well-functioning Health Centre where we work in an integrated and development-driven manner with the ambition to do the best for our patients together. Gagnef Health Centre is located approximately 20 km north of Borlänge. Commuting options are available via public transport such as trains and buses, as Gagnef is located on the Stockholm–Mora route.

As a District Doctor with us, you will work with varied and meaningful tasks within primary care. Here, you will have your own patient list area where you build long-term continuity. Together with your colleagues, you will care for patients of all ages based on need. There is an opportunity to deepen your knowledge in different areas of responsibility. Mentoring, supporting trainee doctors, and other professional groups is an important part of your duties.

We are looking for you who:

• is a Specialist Doctor in General Practice
• has good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing (Swedish C)
• holds a Category B driving license

You are a competent doctor with a structured approach to work and the ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary teams. We would like you to be a person who is secure, flexible, and contributes to a positive atmosphere. You are unpretentious and team-oriented, share your knowledge, and take responsibility for ensuring that teamwork functions well – even when the pace is fast. You communicate well with your colleagues and patients. You have an interest in mentoring future colleagues and want to contribute to the development of our operations.
