About the Operations

Ludvika Health Center has over 15,000 registered patients and is one of two region-run health centers in Ludvika Municipality. At the health center, specialists in general medicine, specialty trainee doctors, newly licensed doctors, assistant doctors, district nurses, nurses, specialized nurses, nursing assistants, talk therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehab coordinators, care coordinators, and medical secretaries work together.

The health center is located at Ludvika Hospital, close to radiology and laboratory services. The nearest emergency department is in Falun. The hospital also has an Urgent Care Clinic open 24/7.

Job Responsibilities

As a substitute assistant doctor with us, we offer you a challenging and varied job. Supervision will be provided by an experienced district physician. The temporary position is for the summer with a chance of extension.

The work is varied, involving patients of all ages and situations. You will work independently with clinic duties, including acute assessments and basic checks for conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. A doctor is always available on-site for consultation. The doctors hold collegial meetings every week, and continuous training is planned. You also have the opportunity to influence your schedule and booking calendar.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• is a licensed assistant doctor, or alternatively
• has knowledge of the medical record system Cosmic
• has completed your medical degree
• master the Swedish language in speech and writing (Level C1)
• have an interest in primary care.

Previous experience working at a health center or another clinic is an advantage.

You have good communication skills and can collaborate with others, but also work independently and make your own decisions. You have good empathetic abilities, a professional approach to work, and a welcoming attitude. We place great importance on personal qualities.
