Here in western Värmland, among vast lakes and lush forests, there is a strong glow that spreads warmth and lights up. This glow is our vision and guiding star. Today, approximately 2,700 competent employees work at Arvika Municipal Consortium. You are welcome to join us!
Do you want a varied and developmental job where you make a difference every day?
We are now looking for experienced, secure, and engaged employees for our staffing pool within the LSS (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) operations.
About the Assignment
The pool's task within the municipality is to ensure that operations function safely and stably, regardless of absence or temporary needs. As an employee in the LSS pool, you work where the need is greatest. You meet people with various functional variations and contribute to creating a safe, structured, and meaningful everyday life based on the individual's needs and conditions.
The assignment involves varied and dynamic work, and you contribute to continuity and quality in care by flexibly adapting to new situations.
Working hours are primarily scheduled for nights and weekends, although evening work may also occur. The position involves work throughout the entire geographical area of Arvika Municipality.
Qualifications
- Nursing assistant education or education from the Child and Youth Programme
- Experience working within LSS with individuals with neuropsychiatric diagnoses or acquired brain injuries, as well as the ability to adapt interaction based on the individual's functional level
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Category B driver's license and access to a car
We are looking for you who have a professional and respectful approach and who always put the individual first. With your communication skills and low-affective interaction, you create security in meetings with both users and colleagues, while also having an easy time building trusting relationships.
You thrive in collaboration with others but are also comfortable working independently and taking initiative. Your structured work style allows you to follow instructions and handle varying situations responsibly.
Since the work is varied, you have good adaptability and are motivated by quickly getting used to new environments, routines, and ways of working. You understand the complexity of the assignment and see flexibility as a natural and positive part of your work.
What We Offer
- Full-time position with permanent employment
- A varied role that provides broad experience and a unique insight into the municipality's different operations while allowing you to make a concrete difference in people's daily lives
- Benefits such as a wellness allowance, the possibility of net salary deduction for an annual pass with Värmlandstrafik, and a benefit bicycle via gross salary deduction
- Access to a rich activity program through the employee association ASKIM, with exercise and wellness year-round
Start date is by agreement. We look forward to receiving your application!
