Akademiska Sjukhuset offers the possibility of a study salary for nurses admitted to the specialist nurse program in elderly care. After completing and passing the specialist education, you will be offered a position as a specialist nurse, and we look forward to you being an important resource in the development of our operations!

Conditions

Your study salary corresponds to 100% of the base salary (max 32,000 SEK/month) and is primarily aimed at nurses who are employed on a permanent basis, or who will enter into a permanent employment contract with Akademiska Sjukhuset, Region Uppsala, in connection with the recruitment, and who will start their education in the autumn term of 2026 at Uppsala University. Study salary may also be offered for studies conducted at other higher education institutions. The study salary is included in the calculation of holiday pay and is not paid during vacations or any study breaks. The hospital prioritizes applicants who have not previously received a study salary during specialist education within Region Uppsala. When you have progressed somewhat in your studies, but well before your graduation, we will have a joint dialogue regarding where you will have your future workplace. Your placement will, as far as possible, be made in accordance with your wishes, but may also be determined based on the operational needs.
