VS Truck is a nationwide company that sells, offers service, and finds solutions within logistics for forklifts and construction machinery. Through agency agreements for several well-known brands such as Crown, Bobcat, and Pramac, they are an established player in both large and small businesses. Their technical and sales offices stretch from Eslöv in the south to Stockholm in the north, as well as a webshop that also generates significant business. Today, the company has a turnover of 140 million SEK and employs over 50 people nationwide. In recent years, VS Truck has doubled its turnover and expanded into new regions, which places high demands on the quality of key recruitments like this one.
About the Role
As an Area Account Manager, you will become a sales representative for VS Truck with regional responsibility for VS Truck's largest region, Västra Götaland. This means you will have the opportunity to work together with your technical colleagues to build upon the already established customer base, while also processing and developing business with new customers. Through relationship-building work, you will handle customer contacts and be responsible for the entire sales process from the first contact with the customer to the completed project. VS Truck has a very flat organization, so in close collaboration with the company management, you will help formulate sales strategies for your area and ensure a secure delivery to the customer. Behind you, you have sales colleagues in other parts of the country, the Aftermarket Manager, and the CEO who will continuously support you and provide information.
The role entails the following:
- Identify and process business opportunities among existing customers and develop new customer collaborations
- Drive the sales process from first customer contact to closed deal, and thereafter ensure that professional customer dialogue continues
- Administer quotations, cost estimates, and financing solutions
- Contribute to formulating sales strategies for your region
- Sales administration in VS Truck's CRM system
Your office is located at VS Truck's facility in Borås, and you will report to the company's CEO, who works remotely. The Västra Götaland region is one of VS Truck's most important areas and will have a strong focus on growth. Therefore, it is important that as a regional salesperson, you understand that the job involves both taking responsibility for handling existing customers and creating new ones, while continuing to build the VS Truck brand in the region.
About You
We are looking for you with high personal drive and a constant desire to move forward. An entrepreneurial spirit permeates your work, and you are not afraid to try new paths to reach your goals. With a high degree of technical curiosity, you tackle your work, wanting to immerse yourself in everything from VS Truck's product range to how their customers operate. Since you will work on building relationships, it is important that you are credible in your communication and instill confidence in your customers.
In addition, the following are important for the role:
- Documented experience in the sale of mechanical products
- Experience with quotation handling, business proposals, and financing solutions
- Strong technical interest
- Good computer skills and experience working in a CRM system
- Fluency in Swedish and English
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
