We are now looking for an experienced Data Engineer for an exciting assignment in a technically advanced environment. You will work in a modern, cross-functional team focused on developing robust and scalable data solutions for business-critical needs.

About the role

In the role of Data Engineer, you will play a central part in the development of modern and scalable data solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and data flows that support business-critical needs and enable data-driven decisions.

In the role of Data Engineer, you will:

• Design and develop data pipelines and data products
• Build and maintain ETL flows in PySpark
• Work with modern data architectures such as Lakehouse and Medallion
• Ensure data quality and develop testable data flows
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and business units in agile teams
• Contribute to the development of scalable and efficient data platforms in cloud environments

We are looking for someone who has:

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer with documented experience in production-grade data solutions
• Very strong skills in Python
• Experience with data modeling
• Good understanding of data architectures such as Medallion and Lakehouse
• Experience building ETL pipelines in PySpark
• Experience with data platforms such as Databricks
• Experience with Delta Tables, Parquet files, and S3 bucket architecture
• Practical experience with Airflow
• Experience working in agile development environments
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with data quality frameworks and data testing
