Process / Validation Engineer

We are currently looking for a Process / Validation Engineer for a role within an expanding and project-intensive company where several new production lines are being established in parallel. The projects are in various phases – from installation and commissioning to qualification and commercial production – with the goal of reaching full operation during the first half of the year.

You will become part of a cross-functional team consisting of both internal employees and consultants, working closely with production, quality, and technical functions.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing test and validation activities related to production processes and equipment. The work includes creating test strategies and protocols, as well as practical participation in qualification and validation work in production and cleanroom environments.

You will also plan and coordinate tests, work closely with operators and other functions, and contribute to ensuring quality and compliance during the startup of new production lines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, e.g., Chemical Engineering or Biotechnology
• Experience as a process and/or validation engineer in life science or manufacturing
• Experience from GMP-regulated pharmaceutical production
• Knowledge of working in cleanrooms and aseptic environments
• Experience with qualification and validation, e.g., IQ/OQ/PQ
• Proficiency in writing test and validation protocols
• Understanding of processes such as control systems, tanks, freeze-drying, and oil-based systems
• Experience from production lines and industrial environments
• Experience in equipment and process qualification
• Ability to develop test strategies and execute tests
• Understanding of the different project phases – from construction to commercial operation
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration
