We are looking for a driven Production Operator for our night shift. You have broad experience from production work in manufacturing, preferably within the food industry, and are motivated by a technical interest. The role involves preparing for the next day's production by reconfiguring lines according to the plan, as well as performing thorough cleaning of the facility. This includes piping systems, outlets, and work surfaces, both on machinery and in the premises.
Food manufacturing requires strict hygiene rules and meticulous routines. We handle chemicals and adhere to the requirements of the Swedish Food Agency and our customers regarding food safety standards. The night shift team consists of 5–6 people.
We are looking for someone prepared for night work. The position is primarily scheduled from Monday evening to Friday morning (23:00–06:00). You are also responsible for the week's final cleaning session, which takes place on Friday afternoon/evening. You have a flexible start time from approx. 16:00 until the cleaning session is completed (as we do not produce during this time). The work shift generates pay for 6 hours, regardless of the actual time spent.
The night shift's tasks mainly involve preparing the lines for the next day's production. This means reconfiguring and cleaning the facility's piping systems, lines, and surfaces. Once production is finished, it is "cleaned out." After reconfiguring the lines, a final wash-down is performed so that everything is clean before production starts. The night shift also prepares lubrication for the next day's run and then hands over control to staff who start at 05:00 for loading into ovens. Start-up of frozen production usually occurs before the night shift leaves the facility in the morning.
Note: The actual cleaning work is largely done via our CIP (Clean-in-Place) washing systems, but also manually with hoses and high-pressure equipment. There is significant responsibility in the careful handling of the chemicals we use in the cleaning process.
