About the Operations

In addition to the regular primary healthcare center duties, Vårdcentral Särna also has a Child Health Center (BVC) assignment. The operations are characterized by exciting and clearly seasonal healthcare, including both planned activities and acute care. The permanent population is approximately 1,600 residents, but during the high season, a large number of visitors stay in the mountain area. The region has a distinct rural character with long distances, and the nearest hospital is located about 120 miles from the health center.

We have good collaboration between all professional categories and place great emphasis on teamwork. We continuously work on well-being, working environment, and development issues, and we are in a process where we jointly shape future ways of working and operations. In short, this is an stimulating workplace year-round, with an especially eventful winter season. Job Responsibilities

The work at the Child Health Center (BVC) includes reception duties, parental support, as well as counseling and administration of vaccinations. The health center also has a branch in Idre where BVC reception is conducted.

Since the number of children in the catchment area is relatively limited, the position is combined, involving work both at the BVC and in the doctor's office. Within the doctor's office, you play an important role in the daily operations of the health center, which includes both planned appointments and acute patient care.

We work in close collaboration within the team and value good collegial camaraderie. At the same time, the position offers the opportunity for independent work, personal responsibility, and room for initiative and development in the role.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• are a licensed district nurse or pediatric nurse
• have a valid driver's license (Category B)
• have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

The following are considered meritorious:

• Previous experience working at a Child Health Center (BVC)
• Experience from primary care or other reception work
