Welcome to District Veterinarians in Östhammar!

At our clinics in Östhammar and Tierp, 12 veterinarians, 2 animal nurses, and 7 animal care workers work together. To our cheerful and tight-knit team, we are now looking for a substitute for an anesthesia nurse/animal care worker level 3.

RESPONSIBILITIES

At our small animal clinics, our veterinarians receive patients for dental care and surgery together with our experienced anesthesia nurses.

As an anesthesia nurse/animal care worker level 3 with us, you will work in a varied daily routine. Your work will consist of approximately half of your working time anesthetizing using gas or TIVA (Total Intravenous Anesthesia). The remaining time, you will help your colleagues with routine animal care tasks such as reception, cleaning, laundry, sales, and serving as one of our faces to the public with significant contact with pet owners, both at the clinic and by phone.

You will be based at one of our clinics but will work at both our clinics, so some work will take place at another location.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are trained as an animal care worker level 3 and have experience independently anesthetizing using both gas and TIVA.

You are accommodating and attentive in your interaction with our customers to give them a good experience of their contact with us, and you enjoy having many varied tasks.

A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
