The Secret Agency is seeking reinforcement – new recruits for highly personal assignments.

I am the agency's operations manager: a 44-year-old visual artist living in central Gävle. Since my muscles are of the slimmer variety, I get around using a power wheelchair (Permobil) and therefore need to borrow your arms and hands to make daily life function.

Concretely, this means:

• You make life at home smooth – from morning routines to cooking, from showering to household repairs.
• You are my extended arm – whether I am in the cabin, on a train journey, in a pool, or need to scrape a car windshield.
• You think one step ahead – you notice when action is needed without me always having to ask, or you stay in the background when necessary.

Who am I looking for?

The most important thing is not experience or formal qualifications – the most important thing is who you are as a person.

I am looking for you who:

• Are self-initiating but not stubborn – you take initiative and act, but ask when you are unsure. You understand the difference.
• Have a certain amount of humor and self-deprecation – most things become easier then.
• Are in good physical shape – manual lifting occurs.
• Are a woman (due to the nature of certain work tasks).
• Handle shifts – some days are calm, others more intense.
• Are discreet and professional – you are more effective than visible.

Meritorious but not necessary:

• Experience in assistant work or a similar role where you have supported someone in their daily life.
• Category B driver's license (makes certain situations easier but is not a requirement).

Working hours and schedule:

The position is approximately 50% during the summer with a chance of extension, as well as substitute positions during vacation and illness.

Typical work schedule:

• Primarily 24-hour shifts (morning to morning) including on-call duty of 5.25 hours at night. Some shifts can be split (e.g., 09:00–18:00 or 18:00–09:00).
• Flexibility in times is a must – but flexibility can often be offered in return.
• Opportunity to combine with studies or other commitments.
