About Us

Ômami is a growing concept within Asian street food that has taken the Swedish restaurant scene by storm! We combine authentic flavors with a modern twist and have already established ourselves as a natural choice for both take-out and restaurant experiences. We are looking for dedicated kitchen staff who want to help make Ômami a favorite among all food lovers!

You will work at all our restaurants in Gothenburg – our new restaurant at the Central Station, as well as our units on Linnégatan and in Johanneberg. This provides variety in your work and the opportunity to get to know several different colleagues and work environments.

The Role

As a kitchen staff member with us, you are an important part of the team and the daily operations in the kitchen. You will work with high-quality cooking, prepare ingredients, and ensure that our guests receive fantastic flavor experiences. We value teamwork and a high pace where everyone helps out to create a positive and inspiring work environment.

We would like you to have some type of experience from the restaurant industry. Experience with Asian food or sushi is a plus, but not a requirement – we will train you on the job! With the right attitude and a passion for cooking, you will go far with us.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook dishes according to our concept and recipes.
• Ensure that the food maintains high quality and is delivered on time.
• Contribute to ensuring that the kitchen's hygiene and safety requirements are followed.
• Work together with the team to create a smooth and efficient service.

We believe that you:

• Have a genuine interest in cooking and a desire to develop.
• Enjoy working at a high pace and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Are a team player who spreads positive energy and contributes to a good atmosphere in the kitchen.
• Have an interest in Asian flavors – this is a plus but not a requirement.
• Can remain calm in stressful situations and focus on solutions.
