About the job

Your main tasks as a nurse or midwife are to provide good and professional care for patients in inpatient care, in collaboration with other professional groups.

The duties also include telephone advice, triage, and emergency care at our gynecological emergency clinic.

The position includes weekend shifts, 2 out of 5 weekends.

About the workplace

Ward 1A is a gynecological inpatient ward with 8 beds. We work with pre- and post-operative care, as well as oncological and palliative care. During on-call hours, we also provide telephone advice and emergency care within gynecology.

We also run a day-care unit where we treat patients with shorter care needs, for example, for treatment of morning sickness and care in connection with outpatient procedures. Our oncological activities are also located here. We have close cooperation with the adjacent gynecology clinic.

About you

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse or midwife with a few years of work experience. Previous experience in triage and/or emergency care as well as telephone advice within gynecology is meritorious. We welcome applicants with an interest in oncological activities.
