We are now looking for you who are a specialist physician in general medicine with an interest in rural medicine. You want to work in the middle of Sweden's most attractive mountain area. At the health center in Sälen, you will become part of an engaged team taking care of approximately 3,600 registered patients with a wide variation in age and needs. Additionally, there is a large influx of tourists, especially during the winter. Here you will handle both scheduled and acute patient cases, and you will collaborate daily with colleagues from various professional backgrounds with broad expertise.

Diverse tasks – you will work at the clinic with both booked and acute patients, and also be responsible for SÄBO (care for the elderly/disabled) and home care. Work within Child Health Services (BVC) and Maternal Health Services (MVC) may occur. Supervision of doctors in training is included in the position. On-call duties during evenings and nights occur occasionally.

Scope: Full-time

Duration: 10 months (flexible)

Requirements:

• Specialist competence in general medicine
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Category B driver's license
