About the role

As an employee here, you represent Hornbach and serve as a role model in terms of engagement, drive, and customer service. We are now looking for a store sales assistant for our paint department.

Your main tasks will primarily consist of selling and advising customers. Thanks to your product knowledge and sales skills, you ensure that the customer can complete their project.

Examples of typical duties

• Active sales of the product range within paint.
• Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange solid knowledge and experience within the product area.
• Responsible for incoming goods and display, as well as setup and restructuring within the department.
• Analyze the department's product presentation.
• Provide assistance on other departments as needed.

Your profile

• Upper secondary education or equivalent, along with retail experience.
• Relevant professional experience/education within the paint sector.
• Passion for offering our customers the best possible service.
• Realize customers' projects through professional advice on our wide product range.
• As a person, you are stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-oriented.
• Good physical condition as some departments require lifting heavier items.
• Merits if you have a forklift license (A1-A4 & B1-B4).

Working hours/Duration: Fixed-term, seasonal. Part-time 30 hours/week. Working hours include mornings, evenings, and every other weekend.

Salary: According to collective agreement.
