What is the NOC?

The Network Management Center (NMC) is our operations center in Gothenburg. About the Role

As an Operations Technician at our NOC, you will be a key person in ensuring that societal-critical communication services function optimally. In this role, you handle both monitoring and technical support. You are responsible for monitoring networks and infrastructure, receiving and handling fault reports from our customers, while performing troubleshooting, fault analysis, and measures to resolve technical issues.

You also handle orders for configuration changes and actively contribute to creating and improving routines, instructions, and documentation in our knowledge base. Together with other employees, you ensure that information and work processes are kept up-to-date and relevant.

This role offers a combination of customer contact, technical problem-solving, and administrative tasks, where you have the opportunity to make a real difference for society's critical communication services.

Who are you?

You have good analytical skills and enjoy finding solutions, both in daily work and in projects. In our team, we work closely together with open dialogue. Therefore, we value that you are a team player who follows routines but also dares to question and come up with new ideas. To succeed in the role, you are responsible, structured even under pressure, and have a strong desire to contribute to high quality and operational security. You are proactive, see opportunities, and easily build trust with colleagues.

We see that you have:

  • A post-secondary education in the field or other experience that we consider equivalent
  • Several years of experience in customer service and/or technical support
  • Good knowledge of telecommunication, data, radio, or broadband networks and their structure and connections
  • Good ability to read and interpret technical documentation

  • Technical understanding of TETRA/4G/5G
  • System knowledge regarding indoor solutions for radio and mobile communication
  • Experience in technical support at a mobile operator
  • Experience working with TETRA systems, such as Rakel
