Our Operations

The Academic Children's Hospital area consists of eight sections. The position is organizationally part of the Section for Specialized Pediatrics. The section provides National Highly Specialized Care (NHV) in several areas. Research and teaching are important components of our operations.

Your Role

Your role involves clinical duties at the pediatric rheumatology clinic. The work approach is team-based, and you will receive continuous supervision to achieve subspecialist competence.

Rotating responsibilities as a pediatric rheumatology consultant for the Healthcare Region of Central Sweden and for other sections at Academic Children's Hospital will be included after achieving subspecialist competence, as well as responsibility for our elective care ward for a few days per month. On-call duties are included.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a specialist in pediatric medicine and wish to work in a team-based manner. Your goal is to become a subspecialist at the university hospital level in pediatric rheumatology, with special competence in acute and long-term pain in children and adolescents. Previous clinical experience in pediatric rheumatology and experience regarding assessment according to the biopsychosocial model of pain conditions are meritorious, in addition to research merits. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
