We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to take a leading role in our development projects, from initial idea to finished product.
As our new Development Engineer, you will become a key person for the electrical group, ensuring that we deliver, keep project schedules on track, and create an environment where collaboration and innovation thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Act as the technical expert for the electrical team in project meetings, presenting status and progress.
- Create and own the structure for the project's technical documentation.
- Lead technical discussions regarding the selection of electrical components and support other teams in integration.
- Drive and lead the electrical team's weekly meetings to ensure alignment.
- Develop and manage the overall schedule and key milestones in projects.
- Manage project requirements, issues, and sprints in Jira.
- Participate in analyses such as FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) and DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) for the electrical area.
- Coordinate and plan the creation of prototypes and test samples.
- Be responsible for ordering A- and B-samples for components and cabling.
- Ensure that the electrical technical parts of development reports are complete and correct.
Requirements
What Makes You Stand Out
To succeed and thrive in this role, we see that you have:
- Documented experience in leading technical projects, including team coordination and communication with various stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of project management tools (especially Jira), methodologies (FMEA, DFMA), and processes for component selection.
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, as we work in an international environment.
- The ability to lead and inspire a team as well as manage expectations from different parts of the organization.
- A strategic and proactive approach, with a talent for organizing and prioritizing in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications That Are a Plus
It is a big plus if you also have:
- Knowledge in cable development.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both verbal and written.
- Experience with European standards and other issues related to product certification.
- Experience with SAP.
