About the role
As a Retail Sales Assistant at Ahlsell, you will become an important part of the customer's experience in the store. The role is varied and involves significant personal responsibility, where you actively contribute to the store's continued development and success.
You will become part of a tight-knit team of 13 employees in Linköping, where collaboration, engagement, and team spirit are central parts of daily life. Everyone contributes their skills, and together you work to create the best possible customer experience.
In this role, you will also have specific responsibility for cash handling. The role is central to the store's customer flow and gives you great opportunities to influence how the customer experiences their visit from the very first meeting.
The position is a parental leave replacement starting in June and initially runs for six months, with good opportunities for extension. The work takes place on weekdays between 07:00 and 16:00.
Your main responsibilities
The role includes, among other things:
- Handling payments and order processing.
- Working with campaigns and product display.
- Restocking and organizing merchandise in the store.
- Participating in inventory.
- Creating and developing good customer relationships through professional customer interactions.
