We are currently looking for a Kitchen Manager (Combined Role) for our warm food reception kitchen at Tegelbruksskolan.

Serviceförvaltningen (The Service Administration) is Falu Municipality's provider of internal service and ancillary services according to an FM concept, as well as local supply and management of most of the municipality's properties. The task is to support the municipality's various operations by providing appropriate and functional premises, tasty and nutritious meals, vehicles, and transport services, among other ancillary services. Falu Municipality is the leading public employer in the region for developing FM services and support based on BIM. This development takes place in both construction and management.

Those of us who work within the administration strive to ensure that children and students are offered good and nutritious food prepared with great care, and that they have clean and fresh premises to spend their day in.

Responsibilities

Tegelbruksskolan serves approximately 350 lunch portions per day. The school is located in Britsarvet and receives its warm food from Britsarvsskolan in Falun.

Your tasks in the kitchen include preparing breakfast and snacks, preparing and serving lunch, cleaning, and dishwashing. You are also responsible for orders, statistics, and documentation in the food data system Matilda, as well as documentation of self-control based on HACCP.

In addition to the kitchen duties, the position also includes cleaning of adapted school premises, approx. 2 hours/day.

At times, during school days or holidays, other placements may be relevant.

Qualifications

Requirements for the role:

• Education and/or professional experience within the field of large-scale kitchens or restaurants.
• Basic IT skills are required to handle our ordering systems, email, smartphone, and personnel system, as well as to communicate via email with managers and colleagues.
• Since part of the work involves working according to a job description and being able to provide written and/or oral documentation, good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Knowledge of special diets (allergy food).
• Education or experience in cleaning services.

Terms of Employment

The position is a permanent full-time employment with the possibility of a lower percentage within the framework of the full-time agreement. Start date by agreement. Working hours are during daytime Monday–Friday.
